FOOT

          SPRAINED FOOT
The feet and ankles work together to provide support and mobility to the body. A foot or ankle sprain is a soft tissue injury.

Most often, a sprain occurs when an injury pulls, stretches, or tears the ligaments that connect bone to bone.

 Heel Pain
Heel pain is most often caused by plantar fasciitis, a condition that is sometimes also called heel spur syndrome when a spur is present.
Heel pain may also be due to other causes, such as a stress fracture, tendonitis, arthritis, nerve irritation, or, rarely, a cyst.

The plantar fascia is the flat band of tissue (ligament) that connects your heel bone to your toes. It supports the arch of your foot. If you strain your plantar fascia, it gets weak, swollen, and irritated (inflamed). Then your heel or the bottom of your foot hurts when you stand or walk.
